The Society Guide is membership-based program for nonprofits that works to connect our members with high net worth donors and their advisors.
The flagship benefit of membership is inclusion in our annual Giving Book - a handsomely designed, coffee table style catalog of our nonprofit members, showcasing their impact in the community with artistic photography and compelling narratives. Books are printed annually and hand delivered each November to an intentionally selected list of high net worth and philanthropic families, wealth advisors, and estate planning professionals.

meet your guides
We met in 2007 while working at Tribble Creative Group – a local beacon in the event fundraising community. Both in our early years as Charlotte transplants, through our work we became entrenched in the local community and the people who lead it. We worked on projects in collaboration with the Foundation for the Carolinas, the Arts & Science Council, Carolinas Healthcare Foundation, Discovery Place, Make-A-Wish Foundation, the North Carolina Conference for Women, and Community Building Initiative, to name a few.
Along the way we got attached. To Charlotte. To the nonprofit community and the people running them. To the philanthropists whose generosity seemed to have no bounds. And to each other.
Eventually we moved on to other ventures, but always found ourselves returning to these attachments. Erica went on to help drive marketing and design for several nonprofits, while also launching her own community minded projects. Amanda worked as a freelance writer, covering the arts and philanthropic community, and later served as editor of Society Charlotte magazine.
It was only a matter of time before we returned to each other, sharing stories of what we’ve observed as we watched, recorded, and promoted the change makers in Charlotte. Over Dean & Deluca salads together, discussions with community leaders, and quiet individual ponderings, we hashed out how we could strategically serve the nonprofit community in a way they needed the most.
So we came together and gathered the best of the best for our Advisory Board, to create the platform to do just that.
